John McCoy

John McCoy is the host of the Sophomore Lit podcast, which re-reads the stuff you might have read in your younger days. Along with Phil Gonzales, he hosted the now-retired podcast Klickitcast, which discussed every book by Beverly Cleary. John’s blog/newsltter, Pathetic Fallacy, is at johnmccoy.org. He posts (infrequently) on Bluesky as @tracemcjoy (there’s a story behind this username but it isn’t particularly interesting). In his non-podcasting non-blogging life he is an Assistant Director at the McMullen Museum of Art.
